Welcome to my Monochrome Monday
I have been looking through
thousands
of old photos from the years past.
This photo was taken on our trip to
Gatlinburg in 2006
while driving out to
Cade's Cove.
The kids love to have a
picnic
and play in the streams to
catch critters.

It's only when you look carefully for a minute at the scale that you realise how big the stones are that have been used in building this; it comes out very well in b&w.
Really an interesting photo. Love it!
Pleas look some more. This was a beauty, but then I love tunnel photos.
This is a brilliant shot!
It looks so cool and shadowy on this side, so sunny on the other. Lover the textures and contrasts in this one, as well as the shape of the tunnel. Nice shot!
Incredible! Reminds me of the tunnels along the Trans Canada in British Columba along the Fraser River. :D Nicely done.
That is a very cool shot.
Very nice effect.
Now there's a long tonal range. I really like the way your photo brings out the shadow detail in the structure. Well done.
